Something I Learned About Betrayal

Betrayal is something we all experience at one time or another. Sad to say, but being betrayed is just a fact of life. When this happens, we can either learn and grow from it or let it bring us down. It’s our choice. Starting with faith in others is a great beginning to trusting others again. Surround yourself with positive people who you can confide in who have been through the same hurt. Distance yourself from those who are not trustworthy. Maintain control of your emotions. It can be so easy to have the “eye-for-an-eye” mindset, but don’t go there. Your emotions can be your best friend or your worst enemy. Don’t be a betrayer. Pray about it. Give it to God. But most of all, forgive…forgive…forgive.
