What’s UP Wednesday

We are sometimes too busy posting poems, photos, thoughts, links, prompts and anything else that our little heads can produce into words…that we don’t get to say “HI! WHAT’S UP?”

* * * * * * *

That’s what this post is all about. Just to say Hi and share what we are up to at that particular moment. So, I guess I will start.

Hi! I’m on my lunch break this very moment of which I look forward to every day! Ten hour days can be exhausting when working with “little ones.” I’m looking forward to an uneventful weekend, some sunshine and possibly some chocolate in any form. LOL

  1. I’m at work, during a mini break, teaching my rambunctious 5th graders.

    1. Gotta have those mini breaks. I know, because I worked with a classroom of 20 preschoolers. YIKES! 5th Grade…full of questions, emotions changing at a moment’s notice and all the early adolescence that comes with it. ENJOY YOUR MINI BREAK! 🙂

  2. My husband has a tough time staying on a good diet. He not only doesn’t eat right but also skips meals during the day. He just recently went to the doctor and waiting on his blood results. His sugar is high so he is now trying to take the steps needed. I wish you much success in your efforts. Once a good plan is in place, you should start seeing good results. 😀 I hope you have a great day today!

  3. Just getting used to a diagnosis of diabetes 2 weeks ago. I am very lucky that it was detected through blood tests rather than later on through serious symptoms. I still have to get a very specific diet sorted out meal by meal. All rather weird. I had recently got used to being seventy. Life is not monotonous.

      1. I’m glad! I love to laugh.

  5. I’ve been blogging this evening and then reading blogs of those who stopped by my site. I read some fiction tonight, I recently discovered Lisa Samson’s books.
    So I’m answering on Thursday, and I just realized your title was “What’s Up, Wednesday?” 🙂

    1. No worries. I’m always a day off. LOL! Lisa Samson? I will have to check her out. Hope you have an amazing Thursday!😀 Thanks for stopping by!

      1. It was pretty good. I kind of lived in the book for a while and then again today. My husband finally asked me today, “What did you do all day?” as he scanned the kitchen sink with its dishes. I had to admit it – reading a book. Caught! 🙂 Rats.

    Well, it’s not very exciting…in fact its not exciting at all. But I do have an appt. with a pain management doctor in an hour concerning my back. A bunch of messed up discs in my back has really limited my mobility. Hoping and praying this doctor may have some ideas and/or treatments for me…

    Going on a family reunion at the end of this month. It’s just a weekend.

    1. I’m so sorry to hear about your back pain. I hope your appointment goes well and the doctors can find Some solutions.
      I love family reunions. Getting together with all those crazy people I’ve not seen for so long is always interesting. Have a great time! 😀

        Thanks on both accounts, Laura. We have this family reunion every year, but a good time is always had by all.

        As for my back, well…keep me in prayers!
