I AM SO LAZY…

Life is hard, right?  And it’s hard enough without being lazy. But they say laziness is an art. It’s a committed choice to not do something when it’s really not that hard to begin with. So, in essence…lazy people are just saving energy for something more important. HA HA

Let me translate this, if I may..

🙂          🙂          🙂          🙂          🙂          🙂          🙂          🙂          🙂          🙂

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, sometimes when I vacuum, I avoid picking up a piece of fuzz or lint by running over it with the vacuum umpteen million times in hopes that it will get sucked up; only to find myself kicking it under the furniture to hide it.  (Yeah, you’re guilty and you know it.)

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I will drive around a crowded parking lot for 10 minutes or more just to find a closer parking spot, when in that amount of time, I could have already parked, walked the distance and in store by then. (Come on…it’s ok to admit it.)

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I have watched TV with the sound down and reading lips during an entire episode just to avoid getting up to find the remote. (Oh yeah, this takes skill.)

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I will find myself wrapping those 50 plastic grocery bags up and down both arms in order to avoid making a second trip which eventually happens anyways. (I see you smiling and nodding your head 🙂 )

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, when I’ve dropped an ice-cube, instead of bending over and picking it up…what did I do? You know.. we’ve all been there.  I nonchalantly kicked it under the frig. (Shhh. Don’t tell anyone)

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I will use a ton of pillows to cover up with during a nap because the blanket is  just too far out of reach. (This is just too funny)

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I have fallen asleep with the lights on just because it would require too much energy to get up and turn them off. ( Yep! I can’t deny it)

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, when my cell phone is about to die, I have been known to turn it off before it dies, rather than looking for my charger. ( I’m all about conserving energy) LOL

__________________________________________________________________________

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I often turn over in bed and push the blankets off thinking I’m going to get up, but only to roll over to the other side and snuggle even more…not once but 3 more times. (Oh what a feeling!!!)

__________________________________________________________________________

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, when I’ve accidentally knocked that hanger off the rack in a department store, I have walked away acting like someone else did it. ( embarrassed…blushing…)

__________________________________________________________________________

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I wear mismatched socks because it’s easier to just throw them in a drawer unmatched… and hope I never have to take my shoes off for any reason. ( I have been caught with mismatched socks!)

__________________________________________________________________________

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I am so lazy, sometimes I would rather be a homebody because it requires too much effort to even think about getting ready to go out. ( Yikes…)

__________________________________________________________________________

Me: I AM SO LAZY?

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, when I realize my shoestring is loose or untied, I would rather let it flop until I reach my destination. 🙂 and I’ve seen others do this, as well 🙂  Hee Hee

Me: I AM SO LAZY!

Echoed Voice: HOW LAZY ARE YOU?

Me: I’m so lazy, I avoid going to the bathroom even though I’ve had to pee for the past 30 minutes. (Now that’s lazy!)

🙂

I must admit I am guilty as charged but I hope you were able to laugh out loud or at least smile at these. We are all human and sometimes we just need to laugh at ourselves. Today is just one of those days where I feel I need to not be so serious and just realize I am human and have many flaws.

It doesn’t matter how young or old you are, if you can relate to at least on one of these…you have been lazy at some point in your life. And that’s ok. Just know you are not alone.

Can you add to this list? How lazy are you? Do you dare tell?

Now, I’m off to actually get something done

because too much lazy makes for a not so good day.

Until next time,

Laura

  2. I was gonna say, “wow,” but I’ve done a few of these lol, so I guess I’ve been a bit lazy too, especially with the ice cubes. I’m so lazy that when I drip water from the water thingee to my cup, I just leave puddles there because I know it’ll dry up. I call it “letting nature do it’s thing.” 😉

    1. LOL! I’m guilty of the water puddles, too. Bahahaha!

  3. I put off vacuuming the carpet and just pick up the occasional piece of carpet fluff because it is just too hard to get out the vacuum cleaner.

    1. LOL! Same here! Sometimes I don’t even bend over and pick it up…I just kick it with my foot. 🙂

    1. LOL! That’s too funny! My hubby sometimes would rather buy new socks if I’ve not done laundry yet. YIKES!
