Life’s Curves

Curves are all a part of life. From the moment a newborn bonds through the curves of his mother to our last breath of life. We may not always see them or understand them, but the curves are there for our learning.

Completely unaware of this learning curve, the swing becomes a teacher.
Completely unaware of this learning curve, the swing becomes a teacher.

Sometimes curves are vague and come unexpected...with no explanation. And all we can do is just try to stay on track.

But I think life's curves can be beautiful...if we move in the direction...
But I think life’s curves can be beautiful…if we move in the direction…

…in which God would want us to go.

  6. The word “Curve” has been very interestingly used. Also, those photos of empty spaces convey a message of their strong existence and the impact those forms have in the way the curves of our lives take shape. The thing that really connects me to your way of blogging is the use of visuals… Look forward, Thanks!

    1. So sorry for such a late response. I wanted to reply back when I received it but then got really busy with work, and then it took me a while to find it. So..THANK YOU so much for commenting. I really appreciate it. My hope for this blog was to combine my writing with my photos and create a place where I could bring a positive view to others. My hope is that at least one can be inspired from “the view from my window” and bring about a positive outlook or smile for the day. Anything beyond that is more than I could ever ask for. πŸ™‚

  7. Hi Laura, you have inspired me to focus more on images and less on words, as well as labelling the photos. I did this for my first time today for one phone but I can see how it can help the readers. I love how you have made all of the connections.

    1. Thanks so much, Jodie. At one time, I was photographing more and writing less. With work being so busy, I don’t have time to go out and get the photos and be inspired by them, so I’m writing more now. But, the County Fair is coming Friday…YAY! So I will be going out this weekend and getting some shots. I love fairs and everything about them. πŸ™‚ Thanks for your comments and the “Follow”… I look forward to reading your posts, as well. πŸ™‚

  12. Sir Winston, Mr Midnight and myself, from the blog entitled “Gilmours Nice Place”, were really impressed with your beautiful photography. Mr Midnight actually lead me to your blog entitled “Lifes Curves” because he thought it so appropriate – Cats, like himself, are always stretching and curving their backs with which to let lifes energy flow more easily. He thought it nice that a human had also managed to discover that “curves” are so important in life. All the best from my two “lads” and myself out of the Black Forest.
