This was recently posted on my Face Book Page. But for all you fellow bloggers who are not connected with me on Facebook, this is my post submitted for the Daily Prompt: Earth.
Words cannot describe this experience. All I can honestly say is that this experience has changed me forever. Jumping out of an airplane from 10,000 feet at 120 mph may seem crazy to most of you. But for me: it was mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually cleansing.
This was a huge adrenaline rush. Once I jumped, my mind was focused only on the moment. Free from all the junk. Once my feet touched the Earth, my perspective had changed. My focus was enhanced. My mind, body and soul could see the world in a much more positive view. I had challenged myself in a way I had never done before. I had gained a newfound confidence. Free falling from the sky opened my eyes to the real beauty of what life is about. Life is about living and transforming into something much more beautiful. I am stronger than what I once was. I am thankful.
This is me.
This is me free-falling 10,000 feet
down to
Earth.

All I can say is that I am glad you came out unhurt and with a new outlook on life. As for me, I couldn’t ever skydive!

What a blessing! And, thank you! God can do some crazy stuff in us and through us if we are willing to jump outta that plane!

This was on my bucket list and God blessed me with the money, time and opportunity not to mention the courage. I had complete confidence in the instructor and the company. I did my research and they had great reviews. They were awesome!

Good for you Laura – brave lady. This is not something I would do because I have motion sickness, but I commend you for doing something exciting like this. Sounds like all that fresh air gave you a new outlook on life – neat. 🙂

Thank you for your comments. I, too, have motion sickness but this was so different. Nothing I’ve ever experienced and probably nothing will ever compare. This was truly an amazing experience and my perspective on life is so much bigger and optimistic. 😃
