Lines of Nature

Most days, we wander around not noticing the small lines, curves and simplicity of nature that paints the big, beautiful picture we see. The natural pattern of earth comes alive within the boundaries of each object. Look deep into the veins of the natural and the picture becomes so much clearer.

In each photo, the smallest part is worthy of the whole. It makes the image complete. We, too, are a part of the whole. As humans, we are one  small part of the universe but yet, important. Every line, curve, shadow, and thought of our inner being is what makes the world turn. Our goal should be to widen our view,  make the connection, embrace the moment and become a part of the whole.

  3. Love, love, love your images. I wanted to take the Photo 101 class but was unable to. However, I look forward to the next session. Missed seeing your work because of tending to other necessary things. However, seeing this post today reminds me of the pleasure I get from what you post. Keep sharing and have a blessed day.

  4. I was inspired to write a song about nature, which I named “Peaceful and Inspired.” I think nature brings out “awe” and that emotion is spectacular. The photos are beautiful!

    1. WOW! I would love to hear the song sometime. You should share it! Nature does so much for the soul. I love the blessing of being able to experience all four seasons.

That’s a link to my story and so happy to share it. The song can be heard there.
At the time I wrote the story, I was sharing all the blessings in my life going on – in spite of my struggles with dry eyes. But I am doing much better these days, thankfully. It helps me appreciate nature more when I can see better. 🙂

    1. Thanks Paul. I appreciate your confidence in me but I still have soooo much to learn. I wish I was a professional but for now, I just take photos as a hobby. Getting paid would be nice, but I love it even without the money. 🙂

      1. You’re already a profession Laura but may not really know it. Your choice of words for your expert photos is supperb. You just need a little more likes and the money will flow. You are almost there. That’s my target too. Keep it up, and have a lovely week. 🙂

    1. So true, Rose. Nature reflects so much of who I am and brings out the best in me, even on my worst days. Thanks for commenting. 🙂
