mirage and camouflage

Words appear from a distant friend
Forming questions within a text.
Inquiring, relating, communicating…
All appearing to be true.
Days gone by,
The friend…is gone,
Only texts and words remain.
The words seem vague
The words seem shallow
I have myself to blame.
this has happened times before
the friend just somewhat, appears…
comes and goes with inquiries
then vanishes to again reappear.

Fool me once,
Shame on you,
Fool me twice…I’m nice.
Three times…fooled me
My eyes are opened,

I have paid the price.

I clearly see…
I see the mirage
From the friend
in camouflage.

I'm always looking for hope, and sometimes I just like to share what I've found.

Just over here living with depression, telling stories, sharing favorites, posting blurry pictures, and practicing sarcasm.
