Last week, my husband and I, along with my parents, hopped in the car to get a glimpse of some area Christmas lights. Just minutes from our home, we enjoyed a display of over 178,000 lights on one home. Yes, just one ordinary house on an ordinary lot…
The video below was shot on my cell phone and I added music to the display of lights. It does not give near enough credit to the feel and the sights and sounds of Christmas in this Midlothian neighborhood but I hope you enjoy.
The Bottoms Family, in Midlothian, Va, started this tradition in 1995 and it’s still going strong. This nineteen year tradition just recently earned them a grand prize of $5,000 by entering their lights display in the USA Today Christmas Lights Competition. Please check out the link below if you want to see more of this amazing display of Christmas Spirit.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a holiday filled with Peace, Love and Laughter!
