Contentment Defined 14 Times

Realizing you are perfectly happy without the things you thought you needed.
When the thought of perfection is no longer a thought.
Learning it’s not about “what” but “who” you have.
The ability to find beauty in the not-so beautiful days.
No longer wishing you had it all and realizing you already do.
The understanding of what really matters.
The ability to multitask: Praying for better but thankful for your
blessings while waiting patiently for what may come.

Opposite of discontented.
The secret to a thankful life.
Philippians 4:11-13
Recognizing less is more and realizing you have more than enough.
Knowing to look “up” instead of “around’
Is a lifestyle.

a state of happiness and satisfaction

Do you ever find yourself thinking or saying…”If I only had_________,then I would be happy!”? Our culture has taught us that success is based on gaining more…the grass is greener on the other side…and striving for perfection. But, what we fail to learn is that perfection is gained when we realize we are imperfect. Contentment begins when we stop trying to be perfect. These 14 definitions of contentment is just the beginning of defining the 11 letter word. Can you add to the list? Please define what “contentment” means to you.

  1. Contentment is like you said, being happy with want you have, the grass does look greener on the other side but remember it still had to be mowed.
